8K Geyik Koşusu14km too much, 4,5km too short for you?
After 9 years, we decided to launch a trail in between.
Geyik Koşuları 8K course was designed as a course that is long enough for you to enjoy the trails, and if you don't have enough training, it will leave you feeling the strain. It is a muddy road in wet weather with a surprise view, where you will want to run again and again between the valleys and hills of the forest, which improves your heart rate after breath-taking climbs, sometimes slippery but always requires firm footing.
The 8K course is 8km (+/-100m) long. It has 6 basic slopes, 2 of which are large. There are approximately 250m of climbing and descending on the course. Marking follows the 95% red 14K route. At the 5th km, where the main dirt road turns right, it is separated from the route by ORANGE lanes and signs. After 120-150m it turns to red marks again. Signs placed at 15 mile and 70 m intervals on the track will be followed.
There is a sign for every kilometer on the 8K course.
No water is provided in the 8K course. The trail runner should carry 250-500 ml of water or a beverage suitable for drinking during sports, with a hand flask/flask, waist bag/belt, backpack, depending on the course duration and the temperature of the cava.
The course duration is 100 minutes (1:40). Runners who exceed the course time lose their right to be ranked.
